It was cold here in Canada during the month of February. I had no chance to work on the board. I wasn’t expecting very warm days to start working with the paint or with the resin during February. I knew I had to wait at least one full month to start working on the serious tasks. During that time I was working in my basement on the cabinets, the tables and on all parts/subassembly that could be done at home. In my basement, every week, more parts were stored ready to be installed.

Dirty job.
I was working with the stains again. I needed a couple more sheets of the plywood, and I tried to get the same color that I used before. It wasn't so easy because each of the plywood sheets were different and final color varies from the previous ones. A long time ago I decided to use only three different woods so the differences in colors and patterns were acceptable.
It is a lot of heavy work to apply the stain gel first and next wiping the sheets to get the same color evenly on the entire surface.

More of dirty job.

White dots are on the picture only
I almost finished the navigation table. I used combination of solid mahogany and cherry plywood. The size of the table was 36" by 40" with huge 4 inches deep storage underneath.
I started to work with sliding door. The frame was made of the white oak.

Next - the sealer to be applied

Ready for final cut.
There will be two folding tables installed on the board. One is going to be installed in the pilothouse and one in the main cabin. For tables I used three different woods. The center of the boards is done with the cherry plywood, next one inch white oak frame, and final frame 2 inches wide of the mahogany. It looked nice after first coat of the varnish.
The dorade boxes were ready last month. They were done using the white Starboard and the guards were done using 1 inch in diameter SS tubing.

All are ready to go.

The panel box and the back sit
The box for electrical panel was ready as well
